There have been builders onsite for a couple of months at Wye Valley Brewery, and our new brewhouse is starting to take shape!
The
extension to the fermenting room is now complete, two new fermentation vessels and a
new cleaning set are in place. The photo below shows one of the new fermentation vessels being lifted in to it's new home.
The building work on the second extension that will house the new brewhouse will start on 10th September. The wort copper, which uses a highly efficient thermal fluid heating system, never used in the brewing industry before, will be finished next week.
Plenty still to be done, but it's certainly getting there...
